MUG shadows I used:
1- Mermaid
2- Burlesque
3-Cocoa Bear
4- Vanilla Bean
5- Shimma Shimma
I know I do this type of look a lot, with a blue color on my lid and brown above the crease but I think it's very wearable that way and I just really like it haha.
And just a quick update on what's going on with me, I'm healing well from my surgery, I'm still sore but I'm pretty sure that's normal. I'm gonna have one heck of a scar up the middle of my tummy (it's about 8 inches long haha) but scars don't really bother me, I say it's my street cred haha.
I met with the oncologist the other day and the plan is for me to start chemo on the 12th, which was sooner than I thought it was going to be, but it is what it is. So sometime before then I plan on cutting my hair. Maybe something like this:
but I'm open to suggestions!!

ReplyDeleteHi Sonja, I'm relatively new to your blog - but I wanted to let you know that I've been keeping you in my prayers. My sister (and BFF) was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I won't go into all the gory details, but she too starts chemo within the next week. She’s been really worried about losing her hair, so just yesterday, we both got ours cut super-short. She loves it & even decided to get bright purple highlights! [she said “why not, it’s not going to last long!!! LOL]
ReplyDeleteAnyway, stay strong. Know that there are people out here hoping and praying for you.
BTW, hope you love your MUG shadows as much as I love mine!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've just updated myself with all my blogs and I was shocked when I read your last post. But your attitude is remarkable, and your strength is extremely admirable. I'm glad you had a smooth surgery and my prayers are with you girl! xo
ReplyDeleteHEY! My mom and I have been praying for you =) I'm so glad to see your post again! First of all the look is gorgeousssss. Secondly I think you have THE perfect face for a cute pixie cut like that! You're going to be looking hot! I have 4 huge scars on my belly from past surgeries too - and I feel the same way you do about them! I'm glad to hear everything's going well with you =)
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you're doing ok. You're one of my favourite bloggers, not only because you're obviously talented, but also because I think you're a super sweet person and admirable in many respects. Stay strong, you do have the best attitude. I wish you - and your lovely family! - all the best. Big hug from Spain xxx
ReplyDeleteIt's very inspiring to see someone going through something like this and keep a positive attitude. So many people are quick to blame God or life, but in reality, it's part of ones journey in life that we are not meant to understand.
ReplyDeleteI admire your strength and outlook. Your personality sets you apart from all the rest, and your views give me such huge respect for you.
I will most definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
-Stephie
PS- You will look like a rock star with that Pink haircut. You have the perfect beautiful face for it!
